give my mouse buttons commands while browsing the internet? My mouse has three side buttons. The one on the ends are back and forward, but it would be awesome if I could make the middle button between them refresh pages. Any possible way to do this?

What kind of mouse do you have? Many manufacturers have software that will let you program the buttons.

Looked all around devices and control panel, and can't find any software.

If you had Read That Fine Manual, you would have known how to customize those buttons.

What, you can't program it to enter ctrl+F5 ?

Or perhaps ^F5 would work...

The software gives me a list of the commands, there's no "write your own" option anywhere.

Hm. Looks like this reviewer had the same issues you did, with no solution found.

I would think that you could program the mouse button as a hotkey without resorting to the use of the stupid program they provided.

In fact, there is this utility that may help you accomplish that.
