Anywhere I can download Word?

I need to download Word so I convert a Works file to a Word file, but I can't find the program anywhere! Apparently, Microsoft only supplies trials via CD. Is there anywhere I can find a trial version.

I need to convert the file because a job I applied for requested the file in that file type.

Hmm, can Works save files as a Word file? It looks like it can. Is .Doc the standard extension for word files?

Yes and Yes.


File --> Save As and just select the type (.doc) you want to save the file as..

If that doesnt work, save it as in RTF format... Word can open that.
