well heres some news for aol users or people who are getting aol soon: most of the aol cds have viruses and spyware in them.proof: i kept getting casino poker icons and crap on my desktop. I also scanned the disk with Norton and avg and they found it. so just a heads-up for you guys!:mad:
 
spyware, no viruses, many ISP's come with spyware, its what you agree too, viruses no, and becaus eyou have icons on youe desktop has no proof that its from AOL :P
 
AOL is chock full of spyware. If you have a spyware problem and you have AOL, AOL is the cause.

No ISP's come with Spyware other than AOL. From what I know, its actually illegal for an ISP to include an kind of spyware or adware with its software.
 
I have many AOL cd's, installed almost all of them and not one has spyware:confused:

Can't complain though cos I get 1.5Mb connection for £9.99 a month instead of the standard £19.99:D
