apple compatability

I don't see why it wouldn't. There's no reason for apple to have used anything but a normal drive in there.
 
How old of an Apple computer are we talking about? If it is intel based, shouldn't be an issue at all. I have seen nearly 95% of oem retail optical drives work fine in Macs.

Some of the older PPC macs did have some issues with certain brands. However, Apple has used Hitachi, Samsung, Pioneer, and Sony drives in their systems for a long time.
 
Actually, it is from a late model apple computer and has a standard IDE interface. My friend is selling it.

Will it work?
