Hi to all. I've gotten a used Apple G4 Powerbook. The battery latch is broken so I use big black clips to hold it in place. This allows compu to turn on and do whatever. However to turn compu on I must press the shift button just after pushing power button. How can I get my apple to turn on normally. When I try to turn on normally it goes to a grayish screen that says restart. I'm just startin' in compu world and lovin' it but got a long way to go. What are your words of wisdom?
