Apple Macbook Battery.

I'm thinking of getting a Apple Macbook pro, but i've heard the battery can only be charge 1000 times. So after 1000 times does the battery die? Is it true that apple's macbook battery can only be charged 1000 times and is the battery replaceable?

That sounds like a statistic that someone just made up. There is exact number of time a battery can be charged before it dies. The lifetime of a battery depends a lot on how it was used, not simple how much it was used. And yes, it is replaceable.

It's just like every other battery, after a certain amount of charge cycles it'll degrade to a certain percent of it's original capacity.
