Application for File Transferring over LAN / WAN (Freeware)

We are looking for something to transfer files and folders over the Internet with reliable speed. We are looking for something freeware where we can put everything in a centralized location and download any files from there. Would you be able to suggest a few good applications so that I can check them?

Or even maybe you could suggest a better solution?
 
Well, right away I think "the cloud." I can recommenced some here. They are from the most complicated to the less complicated. They are,

Dreamobjects using CrossFTP

Amazon S3

Microsoft OneDrive

Dropbox

Box

Adrive

Amazon S3 or Dreamobjects might be cheaper. I do know you can store a boat load of data on Amazon S3 for just a few bucks a month.

Dropbox gives you 2GB for free and Box gives you 10GB but at a 250 MB file limit. So your data file you upload can't be over 250 MB. Depending on what you're doing and since you say the word "we" I think Dreamobjects with the payed for CrossFTP might be what your after.
