Applying Artic Silver 5 on CPU

Hey

I am wanting to apply Artic Silver 5 on my CPU. But I am kind of confused on how to do it. On articsilver.com it says to not spead to paste out, and let the heat sink spead it out like a pancake lol. But I have always seen them spread it out with card board or a credit card. Which is the right way for a Q6600.

Also if someone has pictures, with step by step instruction on how to apply thermal paste it would be much appreciated.

Also, doing BOTH works very nice if you do it correctly - Just don't use too much!

Nor too little. Also look at the MX-2 Paste... not bad stuff either.
