apps to extract/copy/rip movies,fmv from PS2 DVD

I don't think it's possible. They are in a format not utilised by PCs, and I've never come across a converter of any description. Sorry :(

I have the apps (PSMPlay) for converting for the Playstation movie files. the file extension is *.str and *.xa, those files are not used in PC, but they can be copied from the PS cd and then converted into avi or mpg. this program that I have can even directly play the movie from Playstation CD. I just thought that it should be possible with PS2 DVD.
