Archiving

My computer has 300 Gig hard drive, and it is about 75% full. I just want an inexpensive way to archive some large video files and many e-books. I cannot afford Carbonite or anything like that. What do you all recommend? Thanks in advance for all who help.

get another hard drive. cheap enough.
ya won't loose both at same time. as good as it gets.
Mount it internally. for speed. if portability it will be a usb and slow.
Or network if more than one computer.
