Are CiT PSU's worth it?

SO basically I am building my own pc for the first time I am spending the majority of my money on the GPU, CPU and RAM but I haven't really given the PSU much thought.

I saw some CiT PSUS for sale for £18 (600w Gold efficiency) and I was not sure whether to go for it or not as it seemed a cheap brand, despite having 4.5star rating. The previous one I was looking at was a Corsair for £45 that was bronze efficient 550w.

My other option Is to buy a case with a free PSU so I was looking at this nice ATX case for £25 but the website said for £40 they could add in a 600w PSU (No Brand name) which I though was good but being worth only £15 and being no-named I don't know whether it is worth the risk for my £650 gaming rig?

any advice please on what to do?

thanks!

Absolutely not,Thats the worst thing you can skimp on is a Power supply.

Go with a decent Corsair (CX 500W V2) or something from Antec. :)

Whats your new system specs?

Yeah, no.

Also keep in mind a lot of lower end units blatantly lie about their specs. There have been numerous teardowns on the internet of higher rated units and they're exactly the same as say a 350w PSU (with a 500w sticker) internally.

Cheaping out on your PSU puts all of your other components at risk.
