Are MAC computers really all that better at displaying a better picture than PC?

I'v herd this one for a long time. What do you guys think. I never had a mac, so I need your advice. But first of all, doe that maen MAC is better for games?
 
I think macs are better at image EDITING, rather than display, as the media department at the College I work at uses MACS in full size tower cases.
 
My mac G4 1.33 is MUCH slower than even my old Athlon 1.4GHz was and my laptop underclocked at 800MHz. Unless it can do something visually better, it certainlly can't do anything faster.
 
i bought my little bro a mac with a new os, and it's so slow he prefers to use mine... i think it clocked at 760mhz
