Would appreciate anyones personal opinions and bias on this.
I'm thinking of starting a specific website where traffic is important & as it has to do with Hair Regrowth & I can only find non .com domains, such as .net, .org, .info, .us, for the names I'm considering. In this case, the domain name will be very important for me.
If I use say a .Net or .Org domain, would you consider that a waste of money, as it may deter people from initially checking out the site by psychologically lowering the sites credibility? Or am I jumping off the wrong tree? For me personally, I would be hesitant to read anything about hair regrowth on a .Net or Org, etc, site.
It basically comes down too, am I better off using a crappy .COM domain name rather then a Great .Net or .Org name, to get initial traffic. I'm not talking about content right now, just initial traffic or lack of it based on whether its a .Com or .Net/.Org.
