Are OC'ed video cards worth any extra cost?

I'm comparing three different EVGA cards for the GTX670. The card with the base specs is the same price as a slightly OC'ed one, so I'm really only considering the two OC'ed ones.

Between those two, the differences are:

Core Clock 1006MHz vs 941MHz
Boost Clock 1084MHz vs 1019MHz

The higher OC'ed card is $407.99 vs. $399.99. Now don't get me wrong, $8 will not break me, but I'm just curious if these factory OCs are really worth anything at all. I'd hate to spend more (ANY amount more) only to find that the OC'ed card doesn't perform much better, or runs too hot, or anything else.

Thanks.

Edit: On a somewhat related note regarding the heat issue, isn't it weird that EVGA's cards, even the OC'ed ones, only have one fan? I've seen some other cards that have two or three fans. Is it not a big deal?

id only worry about it if their adding crazy amounts of voltage to achieve a crazy overclock...that one is being clocked less than 10 percent...i wouldnt lose sleep over it
