Are Repairs Legit?

I have a MacBook Pro, purchased new in 2007 and just had to replace the logic board and optical superdrive. I'm just trying to find out if this sounds reasonable. I use this computer almost daily for a few hours and I also travel extensively.

I'm pretty sure it's a legit repair but I thought I'd ask for other opinions. Thanks

Only you would know that. On the other hand Im using Intel and have 100% paid for 5 yrs. that was the standard warranty with Intel rep.
