Hi everyone,

I grew up as a gamer, finding it hard now to find a game I like

Games Ive played and loved

MGS
HL 1 and 2
gears of war
Halo *1
Fable
Modern Warfare
Bioshock(G.O.A.T shooter)
Left 4 dead
nhl and fifa 09
Indigo prophecy

Ive tried a lot of stuff people recomend like the games below but I do not like them

Far Cry
FEAR 2 (its horrible)
madden 08 09 both bad, i like the ps2 versions better
assasins creed was a disappointment
Resident Evil 5 is boring, i cant seem to get into it

Anyone have a game they think id like ? I am picky, i have played fallout 3, it was okay... gear of war 2 was okay

thx

Matt

I just got Mirror's Edge and I recommend it.

Yeah when its in the dollar bin...game was 4 hours long tops...waste of cash and has very little replay value unless you like to "time" yourself.

I agree Fable you would enjoy Morrowind and Oblivion both games are under $20 and have 50+ hours of gaming.

Also its good to see you thought Assassin's Creed was a disappointment too.

I paid $20 for just Portal for PC and I played through it 3 times in two days it was so fun ^_^

If you like action games give Ninja Gaiden II a try it's only $20 new now days.

Portal is so worth it.

You said you played HL 1 & 2. Did you play HL@ plus episodes one and two? If not, then get orange box cause it'll come with Portal and TF2, which are both great games!

I can't wait for Episode 3!!

Dead Space was pretty good.

What's promising is that a modding community is growing and they've found a way to make custom maps, so hopefully we'll see a bunch of new maps in the near future.

If you get a chance check out Fall Out 3. Tons of stuff to do and since you like bio-shock you will probably have a good time with this one.

I'm a big fan of STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, but it's kind of a b-list game according to everyone I know. But I <3 it!

what about the Max Payne games?

Like someone else said, Team Fortress 2 is an excellent game, refreshing artistic style, tons of fun and huge replayability.

Company of Heroes is a very well done RTS game

dayem I got ripped... paid 80 bones for the ovlivion package, couldn't even finish it lol.. got really boring really fast.

old games that are fun

They may not be what you like, and they are very linear, but i still love the old gta games, vice city is my favorite. Or how about sim city 2000, i still have it and still play it. Or Ages of Empires, fighter ace, doom, wolfenstein, etc...

I kinda like the older games, though I have quite a few of the newer ones too.
