I've recently built a workstation for 3D work. The video cards is a Quadro 600, however the 3D views lag a bit on Maya and Mudbox sometimes doesn't refresh and locks it's view until I move the window around. I have tried a Geforce 9600 and the view much better (it's own problems though), but I want to use a workstation card.
Is there much difference between the Quadro 2000 and the 4000 cards in terms of modelling and texturing? I don't need fluid dynamics or a frame rate of over 50 fps, but I would like reliable card which gives a smoother 3D view and refreshes the view properly.
