Hello, I'm currently in the process of building a Midi-Tower ATX gaming PC, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these parts are all compatible with eachother, parts listed below.

Case: Zalman Z11 m-ATX ATX
Processor: AMD FX 4100 3.6Gz Quad Core / CPU
Motherboard: MSI 760GM-P21-FX uATX Motherboard
Video card: EVGA 1GB GTX550ti
PSU: 750w CiT w/ Dual 12V Rails
Harddrive: 1TB WD disk space
Memory: 8GB DDR3 RAM

Thanks.

You need to change your psu to something better then cit brand. 750 watts is overkill though. A good 550 watt unit will suffice. Where are you buying your parts from?

I'm buying them from Amazon, Is it really necessary to buy the same amount of watts or less but from a different brand?

I agree with John,Ditch that PSU!..Its a low quality cheapo.

I bet it wouldn't get anywhere near its rated specs or last very long,Look at getting something from Corsair,Seasonic,Antec,XFX etc.

What's your budget? I bet I could compose a better performing PC :)
For example, the FX-4130 costs the same as the FX-4100 on Amazon right now. Might as well get that instead.

Corsair Carbide 200R
Corsair CX600M
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz
Cooler Master Seidon 120M
Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz 2x4GB
Sapphire HD 7850 1GB

This should be available for around $700 without an OS.

I prefer the Phenom II X4 over the FX-4100, because the Phenom is a true quad core, and the FX is not. I won't justify an FX CPU below the FX-6300, but that's just me.
