are these good enough for gaming?

Well a celeron processor isn't really a good choice for gaming since it is technically a 'dumbed down' version of a P4. I would certainly go with the dual core, especially if you consider it's OC potential.

its not celeron d its pentium 4. and are both these good enough for heavy gamign if paired up with a good graphics card

if you want to chose between those 2.. i'd go for the dual core one. it has lower clock frequenties,so maybe you can overclock it a bit too :) also.. i think both processors are good enough for gaming ;)

805D... great little thing....

should reach at least 3.5Ghz on a decent HSF with some hal;f decent RAM.

yes those seems ok for gaming...the 805d is better , but if buying a p4 consider getting a p4 630 and up instead of the 531

eerrrhhhmmmm............topic people.....

805 D or 915D should be fine if they are over-clocked, as it really opens them up...

get a single core athlon 64 before you get a p4 or a pentium D.
theyre better for gaming... but id go with the core 2 duo if i were you. its definitely superior in performance per clock plus more overclockable than... yes... the pentium D 805... but only if you get like the e6300 and the gigabyte DS3 motherboard. or an asus should be good, just not the cheapest asus you can find.
