i jsut decided to Over Clock my Card to its full Potential and temps still remained same as if it was at default. so the 2 pics are during game play and other jsut looking down with nothing going on. Game is COD4

i was jsut checking to be sure. Cause during real heavy gmaing and smoke ill get 110FPS and with nothing goin on it bops fomr 180-210fps so i guess i found my cards hot spot and performing well.
 
alrighty thanks for the tip.

heres another shot using fraps during the mission briefing. before overclocking it would be aroudn 180 now its extremly high.

I would raise the gfx settings if they are not already maxed, 199FPS means your card isn't really getting a workout and could definitely go for some higher settings.
 
Those are VERY good fps's!

How do you make the frames per second appear in the top right like that? I have no idea how to get info from my computer in that way...

199 FPS on a HD 2600XT God damn that musta been alot of oc'ing. I haven't oc'ed my card yet, and its the GDDR4 version! It only gets like 40-50 FPS on max settings!

But overall, you have a better rig than mine =]

Thing is, are you playing on low settings? Those graphics look pretty crappy.

he said his textures and settings were on "normal" so I would assume that the FPS would be much lower if he set it to High/Ultra High settings
 
well settigns are all maxed out. so its not on low at all. the pic quality looks liek carp cuz it was scaled down.

Do you know why you get 199 fps when looking down?

Because your video card only has to render what your're looking at and if its just the floor.. meh.

From 180 fps to 544 fps - How far did you overclock your card to reach that much of a difference!?
