Are these sites Legit?

I found these sites on Craigslist who are selling extremely cheap laptop computers, including macbook airs and toshiba satellites for hundreds less than anything you can find in the U.S

The explanation of the people running the site is that they are only profiting slightly from initial manufacturing costs, which is how they can sell such things so cheaply. This is a kind of dream come true for me considering I need a decent mobile computer for video editing but I can't really spend more then 300-400$. But are these sites legit? take a look.

Please just give non-racist opinions as I am chinese american but was born in the united states and am unfamiliar with chinese culture. Thanks.

They use the same common layout, and the prices are about 1/8-1/10 what they should be. You thought these were legit?

What POSSIBLE reason could there be that it would not be a scam?

What do you mean 'should be'? I have purchased many things through online venders that were 1/8th the price one would pay in a store. Why should computer technology be any different?

Should be = What they're worth. Alright. I actually think those sites are reputable. Ignore my post. You SHOULD buy from them. You're absolutely right. Tell us how it goes :)

Not to be racist but the Chinese scams sites are pretty obvious. There are countless posts on the internet about it, and when we had our first proxy server installed at my current job it was getting DOS attacks from Chinese IPs because the people in China don't want their internet filtered and the Chinese government does that.

I would personally never trust a website from China or Africa, but that is just me.

Cant really be legit for those prices. Even if you do actually get the product and its all good. its probably 'fell' of the back of a lorry.

they shouldnt be, go ahead-buy them, then tell us how bad they are....

or take our advice and stay clear

sounds really really dodgy...

Also, a company who wanted to be taken seriously would not chose hi8888.com as a name. Someone also already mentioned that all three sites use the same generic looking layout.

If you could order and chose cash on delivery as payment method, it might be worth a shot... i really wouldn't trust these sites with credit card details or any sort of payment in advance..

really, i would only trust sites that have good input, make sure you research them a little bit, like newegg, even though they arent the cheapest, they are very reliable
