are these the same?

i've never heard of those companies.

good ram is OCZ ram, 1066, 2 x 2GB, $109.99 before rebates.

Both are fairly well-known brands and after rebates the price difference is only $2, so it really doesn't matter... I'd probably go for the cheaper (that's just the way I am)

which would you buy and for what reason? the timing and voltage is almost exact so I guess the company might have a roll in the decision? let me know. thanks.

I have heard of mushkin, and as far as i have heard, it is an awesome company. I have persoanlly tried RAM from PATRIOT and it was an awesome experience. I would go for the patriat. If you want the best ram deal right now:

i read somewhere that the more ram slots you fill up the slower they'll be. Thats why I was gonna buy 2GB sticks. Anyone know what im talking about?

Thats somewhat up in the air. Truth is some chipsets memory controller handle 4 sticks better than others. But I would say in general 2 sticks are better than 4. But between Mushkin and Patriot, they are both good brands. They have about the same Timming/Voltage and price. I would say go for the one that makes you feel better:D. Down to just personal preference.
