Are we living in a computer simulation?

I can't see how we are living in a computer simulation... Maybe this guy wont seem like a nut once I read his article.

i have once thought that but it would be much different. like if you think there would be so much more thinkg we cant explane. also what about crashes. i dont think we could go this long with out having a glitch. :D

No it's not a simulation.

I am dreaming and you are all in it. I am the only actual real person. So bow down to me you figments of my imagination!

Now where is that key master?

If this is one long computer simulation, why does it effect us anyways? It's like the idea life is one long dream - even if it's true, we dont know the difference.

When you first saw the movie matrix, when you came out of the theater, did you feel like you could change things with your mind?

I know that on the drive home I kept looking at the stop lights telling them to change to green.

I drove all the way home and did not get stopped at 1 red light. And I had about 12 lights to go through on the way home.

Freaky huh?

Pure coincidence.

I'm guessing on your way home there wasnt much traffic, right?

Most if not all traffic lights have sensors embedded into the pavement, so when you drive near a light, it will turn green if there arent cars coming from the other direction. This way it will save you from having to stop, and help keep traffic moving. There have been many times late at night when I get green lights all the way home.

I just scanned though it, but I guess the major idea is that it would be possible for computer programs to become so complex as to become sentient, and how do we know that we are not just sentient programs in a a bigger program?

It's all a bit ridiculous...
