Okay. I am ....in the market for a new moniter...i'm definately buying an LCD. Question is...what should i look for when buying a monitor. I'v been readoing other posts on this thread and it appears that some less expensive ones will make it lag/...and...preform badly...i dont know much on monitors....anyway, anything you can tell me wil help.

What the hell should i look for.
 
I dont really think you will notice that much of a differnce from say 8ms to 16ms, but i could be wrong.
 
Yes. Look for the response time (ms/second). If you are buying online, look at the reviews and check to make sure that the people who bought if before you were happy with their 300+ buy. lol. However, if you are going to stores to buy this item and can check it physically then watch the video that they usually play on them. Check to see if there is any ghosting and make sure that the text is easy to read and crisp.
