What I want to do
Connect two monitors together for use on one computer... but i want to be able to veiw two difference screens on each monitor (so a cable splitter is out of the question)

What I have bought
I have bought the ATI Radeon 9800SE 128 MB DDR (2nd hand mind you)...

ok i installed it as soon as i got home (unslotted the old one and slotted in this one)... swtiched the machine back on and there was this whiring noise and then an error message something like i need to connect a power lead to the card... so wat did i do after that? i take it in to some doughnut at a computer shop who immediately tells me i spent too much on this graphics card... ( i spent 65 quid )... so anyway then he tries to tell me that the card wont do the job i want and blah blah blah blah and tries to sell me one of his asus g force 256mb one with the two monitor connections at the back too (i told him ill think about it and left)

now im stuck

i dont know if the card ive got will do the job
im not sure how to install the card properly
can sumone jus give their thoughts pppplzzzzzzzzz

power lead to the card? Does that mean you have to connect a power connector to the card? 65 quid? If your card has two outputs in the back, then it should support dual monitor.

Although if one output is blue VGA and other is white DVI, you need a DVI male to VGA female adapter (£5?) assuming you want to run 2 VGA monitors. Connect a 4 pin molex to the power connector on the card.
@liuliuboy: Quid is British pounds.
