Arma 2 question.

I'm more into watching battles in the game then actually fighting in them. Is there some way I can make a battle, and just watch it play out?
 
You could make one in the editor and just observe from a hill maybe? or change yourself to a civilian so your seen as neutral :) that might work, when ive watched the battles before i just sat on a hill and looked down on my creations :D
 
I don't like arma 2 anymore. stupid campaign! its IMPOSSIBLE to find ur objectives. NO MARKERS. you are basically shooting in the dark. Controls are WAYYY too complex and the multiplayer used to be great but blows now. Connecting to games are a nightmare and they are all over the place in game. Do urself a favor. Uninstall the game and sell it.

Just realized it says 2, im actually playing 1. I'm on the mission where you defend the first city. Wouldn't dare buy arma 2 need a better rig.

the idea of the game is that its realistic, if you want easy markers and easy shooting then go play cod :)

There is no such thing as a realistic game.

"An electronic or computerized game played by manipulating images on a video display or television screen." You can't really Manipulate all the matter around you yet, maybe in the future.

Edit: I just dont like the idea of calling a game Realistic.. Reminds me of all the addicted wow-players lol.

I am well aware of the realistic part but there is a limit. I mean its ridiculous. after all its a game and there needs to be some semblance of knowledge about where to go. the ballistic modeling in the game is pretty sick though and the graphics are breathtaking.

MY rig can't even max out ARMA! The reason I don't buy arma 2 is because i refuse to play a game where i lag to hell when i shouldn't. If only all games where as optimized as far cry 2.
 
Bump. Running Arma 2 demo and i averaged 50fps on all high 1920x1080 which is fine for me but.. I seem to get pretty good microstutter. Is it just the game doing that? If its just the way the game works with my card then thats ok. Anyone confirm gtx 295 arma 2 stutter?
