Arma 3 Alpha

That's odd, normally all the AI and stuff makes singleplayer a stuttery mess. Multiplayer's ususally smoother because most of the AI is done on the server or done very locally on clients.

The only thing I can think of is that sure, there is a lot of AI around but most aren't doing anything in the missions we have been given. You only ever have 4 or 5 hostile at once because of how the mission is made, so they are there, but just wandering about not doing anything.

On multiplayer though, you have lots of vehicles and people shooting, so ballistics to sort out (It still have to draw them, esp with tracers) and explosions...

With that said, my CPU doesn't go over ~70% on all cores, so it isn't bottlenecked, which would appear to be a GPU bottleneck still, even though it is fine on sp with the exact same models. It also starts out fine but slowly the fps degrades which, as I have free memory still, again shouldn't cause a problem. I am hoping though that it is something that will be ironed out shortly, there shouldn't be a difference between the two imo
