armor+ mx vs. Antec P183 vs cm 690 ordering early friday

WHich case do you think is better
I'm not sure whether i want a flashy lighted case or reserved one but without looking at that which do you think is better
dont look at money just which is better
I want a quiet case but it needs good cooling especially as I may be doing some overclocking.
So which one is quieter too

Thermal take armor+ mx

what are you putting in the case? if its for gaming i'd choose the armor but if its for school and word processing and photoshop i'd go with the antec. both are extremely nice cases though. im sure whichever you choose will be sexy

im putting in an 8800 gt and an athlon x2 6000+
plus the usual hard drive and boring stuff
nothing that wont fit in either of these
and i do lots of gaming, photoshop, vegas, and usual school stuff
do you know how loud both are?

oh btw i see you have an antec 900 i was thinking of that one but i decided not to because I didnt want something that loud

Hey, i got a cooler master cosmos and iam luvin it. I Would Highly Reccomend IT.

the cosmos is a little too expensive and it doesnt take microatx which atm is a requirement because im using this case for a transfer now but will be upgrading soon

if you're looking for quiet definately dont get the 900. the antec p183 looks like it would have the least amount of noise. it's pretty big though for a mid tower so that might change your mind.

I have an Antec 182. On the plus side it is as quiet as a mouse and rugged and heavy. On the negative side it is HUGE. On thing I don't like about it ergonomically is that the power supply is at the back bottom in a little area of its own. Few companies make 12V leads on their power supplys long enough to get to where the connector is on most mainboards. If you have a tall video card it can be dicey. Great case otherwise and the quietest case I've ever used anywhere at any price.

i think the antec looks nice, the psu is in the bottom in its own little compartment to stop the heat from it circulating around the case...

think its a good idea, but you might need to buy extensions for your mobo cables

if you dont want a cosmos, then i would reccoment the Antec 900, Which I Used To Have Before The Cosmos. The Antec 900 Is Super Quet Considering 5 Fans Runing. And Looks Really Nice.

with the p 183 it only has a top and rear fan and i dont want to add any fans to that one too much. Also cabnle mamangement might be hard and it would be annoying to need extension cables?
Would it still have adequate cooling with two fans?
Antec 900 is prblytoo loud
but what about the coolermaster 690? I could prbly afford to add more fans to that one too.

In my opinion, the Thermaltake tries too hard to look cool and flashy. The Antec is sleek and stylish, and has way more useful features than the Thermaltake. I may be biased because I like a good clean, minimalist look.

The antec has 2 front intake fans, 1 top, and one rear fan. Plenty of air movement.

yea it can take that many fans but it only comes standard with 2

Did you even look at the picture? There are 4 fans that come with it.

that one must be a picture with 4 fans or the bottom two are just part of the mounting assembly in it cus there's only 2 standard
look even on the official antec website here 's the product description
http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=MTgwOA==
and it says this
- 1 rear (standard) 120mm x 25mm TriCool™ fan
- 1 top (standard) 120mm x 25mm TriCool™ fan
- 1 lower front chamber - 120mm fan (optional)
- 1 upper front chamber - 120mm fan (optional)
- 1 middle chamber - 120mm fan (optional)

so I think this shows two are standard and the rest are optional

I've done my research I know the basics of these cases :D

also I might be doing some cpu overclocking soon so which case would be best for that
p183 armor+ mx or 690
im guessing the armor and 690

I think im gnna go for the armour because I really like the look of it and I think it has good cooling.
I prbly have to submit the order early friday so any last comments ppl?

i suggest the antec 900 two over the armor. its reasonably quiet (your video card will be the loudest fan in the pc) and has the best all-round cooling available at your price point.

You're comparing apples and oranges here. The Armor+ MX is a case that goes for the heavily premodded look while the Antec P183 goes for the sleek understatement look.

Basically it depends on what kind of case you want.
