So I use this one on my current dual core and I was picking up another one for my buddies dual core system since he doesn't own a credit card.

And I noticed some odd reviews (I am sucker for reading user opinions)

I noticed reviews of people saying they were using this on their 9650 phenoms all the way to the 9950 phenom the 140w monster.

Now some say they get temps of 40c-50c on highload on the 9950 and I find it hard to believe...atm mine runs 30c idle and 40c on highload but thats a 65w not a 95-140w processor here.

Anyone here use the same cooler on their phenom hows the temps and whats room temps?

I find it hard to believe those temps mainly because they are so close to my own dual cores temps. They must live in 50-60F rooms or something.
 
I use the same cooler, and i have the high temp. If you use your computer for high-end gaming and you have like 50 proceses running, then your temp will be high.
 
Whats your temps and whats your room temps on those temp ranges?


Just trying to understand how they can have such temps on a processor thats over 2x the watts of a X2
 
not sure about phenom,
but in my full atx case, i have the freezer 64 and i'm on 40c load (100% load, folding @ home on both cores) at 3.2ghz
 
Well Mr. Johanssen what I mean was this cooler is being used on quad cores and people are reporting temps close to that of a dual core...reason I was curious what others temps were on their Phenoms...to see if the reviews held any truth to them.
