AS 5 settle time

Just installed a XP-120. 4C drop at full load instantly, just wondering how long the paste takes to fully settle?

Sidenote: Goddamn, that heatsink was a struggle to put on. Almost broke a transistor in the process, and have various cuts from the fins. Only managed to get 3 of the 4 catches on. Simply can't get the 4th to go down far enough.

Also, what actually happens as it 'settles'? Is it simply slowly spreading out and into the cavities?

I believe its approximately 200 hours of use. However before you hit that you do not want to leave it on, so use it during the day, but shut down at night.

Damn. I use my sleep time to run Prime95. That's rather annoying, will have to stop overclocking for a bit.

Ya it sucks, no prime 95 at night for about 2 weeks.
