AS5 Applying Question

So I just got my Arctic Silver 5 and I'm on the ArcticSilver website looking at the application instructions and they say to put the small rice sized glob on the CPU and then to put the heatsink on and turn it clockwise back and forth to spread it better. The problem is, I can't move the heatsink once mounted. Should I be fine just placing the heatsink on the CPU and should this spread the application enough? Or should I spread it out with a credit card or something of the like?

i could do it onmy CPU either. it had those annoying brackets, just push the heatsink on and clip it on, take the clips off and see if it had made a nice circle in the middle
