Aspire 5102 laptop

Hi i have a few problems with my laptop that someone might be able to help me with (hopefully)

Problem 1 is how do i disable the primary master hdd user password,
i do now what the password is but it is annoying at bootup..

Problem 2 is the Touchpad works for about 3 seconds at bootup then power seems to die on me,having to plug a external mouse...
It does say the device is working properly...

Problem 3 the screen is very dark the brightness buttons on the keyboard do not work such like volume ect....
I can right click and use the ATI catalyst control centre and use defaults but the screen is still not that bright,also i have increased the brightness/contrast/ect but the picture is not good..
It might be the graphics card need replacing maybe...

To disable the password you need to go into the BIOS and turn it off. In an Acer it should be F2 at startup iirc.

It may be that your backlight is on its way out.

Combining #2 and #3 I would be willing to bet that you have some loose wires in there, or maybe a shorting plug. That would be the most likely in my mind anyways.
