Hello, I currently am running an ASRock 880GHX/USB3 mobo with an Athlon X3 435 and 8gb of G.Skill DDR3 1333 RAM. the problem is, if i dont OC my CPU i can get my RAM to run at 1333 but if i start OC'ing my CPU, it increases the RAM speed. is there any way to OC the CPU without changing the RAM speed? I know i can set the speed on the RAM lower and OC the CPU until the RAM is at 1333 but the the CPU is at 3.6ghz! ive only gotten it up to 3.3. i havent tried going higher because i dont know exactly how to tell if its stable when i do.

Anyone who can help will be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

Since you have to oc with the fsb there is no way to get around it. If you are worried about your ram causing an instability to your oc you can lower the speed and set the timings a bit looser. That should help you to find your max cpu oc.
