Hello,

I recently bought a Lenovo M series computer case and today I'we put in a ASRock N68C-GS FX motherboard. Everything was ok until I tried to connect the power button and the usb cable from the front panel to the motherboard. The connector from the case is longer than the connector on the motherboard. It has six holes but there are only 5 pins on the motherboard. Can someone please tell me how to propperly connect the cables? There is nothing written on them so I don't even know which one is for the usb ports, which one is for speakers and which one is for the power button and HDD leds.

Thanks

You will need to trace the wires on the case back up to the power switch and USB port. Then remove the wires fron the connector and put them on the corresponding motherboard header pins.

I did something like that so I managed to connect the power button to the motherboard. But I still have problems with the front USB ports. They are connected propperly and all but they still don't work...

Thanks for your help :)
