assembling a gaming pc

hi guys, im thinking of building my own gaming pc. here is what i have in mind, hope u guys can help me out a little in terms of what to use/replace etc. i have a budget of around 2k aud to play with. thanks in advance for the help/advice

mobo: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
cpu: i7 930
graphics: XFX GeForce GTX 260 896MB Core Edition
RAM: 6G Kit ddr3 2000 G.Skill-Trident
HDD: WD SATA 2TB

Without a doubt as above.

Also, if you will never run 2 cards just get a Corsiar 650TX, if you want to CF get a Corsair 750TX.

go with an i7 860 and 5850 maybe 5870 if you work some combos.

the i7 860 is $20 cheaper, P55 Mobo can be $20-50 cheaper and Dual channel RAM (4 gigs) will be about $50 cheaper and not much of a performance drop at all.

Decent build under your budget so you could easily go with the X58 and i7 930 if you want.

If you want to save money you can drop the heatsink and SSD. Plenty of room to pick a mouse and keyboard of your choice.
