any big no no's when putting everything together? some one told me to make sure i was grounded....should i wrap copper wire around my wrists and stick it in the light socket? (joking) how do you ground yourself?

any thing else im going to want to not do or do?:D

Just keep one hand on the metal in the case or even touch it before working.
If your really worried go to bestbuy or something and get an anti-static wristband

Wear underpants only, and touch your case before you start, touch it frequently when you're busy and try not to touch electric stuff that is plugged in :)

(I actually did this when I was busy making a monster computer which costed around 2000 euro's for someone I work for)

Wearing underpants only is perhaps the stupidest suggestion I have heard yet. You only stand risk of static if you live somewhere elevated. Either way if you have concerns an anti-static wrist band is the best way to prevent electric shock and unexplainable transportation of electrical current.

read the instructions before assembling. dont tighten screw's too tight. finger tight is what i leave them at. try not to touch anything that is made from pcb. this is the motherboard, gpu, ram etc. best to handle them from the sides.

Like said above just touch the case somewhere metal before touching any components. You can make a cheap grounding strap out of speaker wire if you feel you need to use one. Strip off one end just long enough to twist around a screw hole on the case and strip back the other end enough to make a loop to go around your wrist.
