(sorry if this posted befroe my internet is acting up) heres a quick run down of what happened, i had this laptop for like 2 years (maybe a bit more) and on friday i checked my emails in mornign to see if work was on, went in came back in afternoon and it wouldnt turn on, came up with some screen saying load windows, then my friend fiddled with it trying to run some diagnostics, then everytime you turned it on it went to blue screen so he said it was a hard drive problem. He took the hard drive out put it into his computer and it owuldnt turn on, then i took it into PC world to confirm and they said it was hard drive. Any i had loads work to do so got new laptop, then i decided if it was just hard drive i would replace it and it should work BUT when i tried to take it out (not a clue what i was doing) i tried to pry it out with the screw driver and it touched something and sparked (it wasnt plugged into power) and now it would turn on or do anythign at all, does this mean its completely screwed? or is there something i can do? ..
also can you claim this type of thing on house hold insurance, and if so what should i tell them went wrong with it? (as im for sure not going to tell them i was screwing around with it..)
any way please help me (and use simple terms and stuff i dont really know whats going on) ASAP thank you!
