that card helps the video card process the physics of the game that you are playing

It's a dedicated processor for the physics. The PPU is just starting to be utilized by some games, so it's not really that useful right now.

As I heard Crysis and Alan wake will not support PhysX card

And PhysX doesn't give any performance boost even in games that support it. So, instead of wasting $160 on PhysX card, you can buy newer video card which will give you much better performance than PhysX card. You can get 7900GS for less than $160 in newegg.
