Asus A53 Series vs VAIO E Series

I was looking into laptops in this price range and these were the ones that impressed me the most. Im pretty much narrowed down to these two. Im using it for everyday browsing needs and school. I would like an opinion on which one people would choose. Also if you have something in this price range you feel would fit better please post up.

The asus is faster, but the resolutions from the viao are bigger.
So it's all yours what you want most...
 
So the VIAO will have a better picture? Does that mean the ASUS picture is not very good or is the VIAO just a little bit better? Same goes for the speed thing. Is the ASUS a lot faster than the VIAO?

The sony have a newer processor with better graphic. Ivy compare to sandy. also it have Blu-ray player. so sony is a better choice.
