Asus A8N-SLI, the right buy?

Well, I am intrested in buying this motherboard for my new PC. Although, I did some research on it and heard multiple reports that the chipset fan on it fails after a few months of use. Should this be a factor in deciding weather to buy this mobo or not? Should I really worry about this?

I think the Asus's are better for overclocking.

I have an asus A8N-SLI and it's probably the most stable and best board I have worked with thus far. I give it a high recommendation.
