Asus a8n32 sli deluxe heat pipe

hi guys

i recently got one of these boards... there brilliant!!!

but i wondered how effective the heatpipe was for taking the heat away so i add a sensor onto the southbridge (bottom of the copper heatpipe) and i was reading temps of 47,48,49 celcius on my fan controller.....

is this normal or is it far to warm??????
