Asus chipset fan dead

My new asus motherboard the A8N-SLI I believe it is I might be mixing some letter from the gigabyte one but its the new Asus SLI motherboard. The northbridge chipset has gone dead. Does anyone know of a good replace cooling fan. And is it possbile to run the computer while the fan is dead? Would it still be able to run with the fan on it but not working.
 
it should still run, but it will run hotter, and can lead to parts frying,

here is a list of chipset coolers and prices. as you can see, they're not expensive
 
mail ASUS.. i know they had issues about the original Fan. so they probably send you a new ( and better ) one in no time
 
you will never guess what !!
Ive have the same problem !!!!
the chipsetfan goes off on one making some savage noises LOL
so that has had to be replaced :(
