My Asus Laptop suddenly crashed. It would not power back up or charge. Before the Power failure it began to runreal slow. I don't think it is a battery failure. I think it's something else. Does anyone have
Any ideas to give me. Thanks for yourposts.
 
If it doesn't turn on or charge then you can assume that the charging port or charging circuit on the motherboard is shot.
 
Thanks John for your post. The charging port when plugged in to charger lights up on laptop.
Also, the power button lights up the laptop when depressed. But does not powerup the laptop.
 
So then it is charging but just not turning on. Try removing the hard drive to see if the machine turns on. Sometimes a failing hard drive can stop a machine from booting up and it coincides with the machine running slow.
