asus eee pc netbook doesnt want to power on

like the title says i have an asus eee pc that doesnt like to turn on it powers up but the screen stays black and the hard drive light doesnt come one the power light and wifi light both come on if i hold power for 5 sec itll turn off and i try again and tap the thing it sometimes boots that way and works and also if it is still warm itll boot but otherwise it is grumpy im afraid one day it wont come on at all so am looking for answers before it gets that far

It might mean nothing to you, however when a reader is trying to determine the issue, grammar is incredibly important.

Right click on the C: and select properties, then tools and check disk. Schedule the check disk for next restart, and then restart.
