Go around google and see what benchmarks you can find. There are some scattered here and there. But don't expect much from that card. it's a very low-end card, mostly meant for HTPC's and such.

While the card has some of the latest technologies, it bears little impact on the actual performance. And video RAM has little to no impact on performance. More RAM can help video cards in some cases, mostly at higher resolutions, but performance is limited to as fast as the GPU can process it.

would this Asus EN9600GT 1GB DDR3 PCIE2.0 HDTV 2xDVI-I HDMI HDCP be a good card plus also if i buy a video card saying it has DDR3 and my RAM is DDR2 will it work

Yes, the 9600gt is faster. All video memory (DDR2, GDDR3, GDDR3, GDDR4, GDDR5 etc) can be used, it doesn't matter what the system uses.

the video card IN THE TITLE of my post i read it can play crysis at 40fps is that good enough plus could it play quicker if i set the graphics to medium

9600GT might handle Crysis on medium, and it definitely will handle L4D2. 9400GT will NOT get 40fps on Crysis, except maybe if you turn the graphics settings all the way down. 40fps on Medium, no way.

Wait, what games is OP playing anyway?

crysis and lfd2?

I would just get a 4850/250gts/5570 for cyrsis on med.

Despending on the rest of your system, what are your overall system specs.(e.g. cpu/amount of ram/psu/mobo)

But if i had a 9800gt, in my system, which is around mid-to the lower end class, it wouldnt play on high @1650/1050. It would play med though.

You want crysis on high, you need, 4870/5570/250/260 etc.
