Asus EVO Mobo?

What does that mean exactly?

I read it's got something to do with the stability of the board?
 
Each choke in the phase are either on or off in order. So the more chokes/mosfets you have, each one is on less. So less heat and better power efficiency.
 
Ok. I'm still not quite sure I understand.

Basically more efficient and runs cooler?

Here is a good up close photo of the chokes, the little black squares. This one is a 8+2/ 10 phase.

I won't be pushing this board to it's limits and won't be doing a whole lot of OC if any so I'll get the cheaper one.
 
Thanks a lot for the help! What are the benefits of that board besides the power phase?
