Asus EVO Mobo?

I found 2 motherboards that seem identical except for 2 differences.

1. Cost. One is 28 dollars cheaper than the other.
2. One says EVO in the title. This is the more expensive one.

What's the difference? What does EVO mean?

The EVO is a 6+2 power phase setup. The non EVO is a 4+2 power phase setup.

What does that mean exactly?

I read it's got something to do with the stability of the board?

Each choke in the phase are either on or off in order. So the more chokes/mosfets you have, each one is on less. So less heat and better power efficiency.

Basically more efficient and runs cooler?

I won't be pushing this board to it's limits and won't be doing a whole lot of OC if any so I'll get the cheaper one.

Either board is good, the EVO would just probably overclock alittle better,

This boards price is in the middle and a better board then either Asus. Plus its a 8+2/ 10 power phase.
