Asus G50Vt-x1 Refurbished

Yup, that is a great notebook for the price, just so you know that refurbished means that it was sent back by someone, and reconditioned/repaired by the manufacturer, and the refurbished models do tend to have a slightly higher rate of returns/defects;)

Well, does that mean it won't run as well?

Not really, what it means is it was returned by someone, and just as something you buy new could have something wrong, so could this, and you have a slightly higher chance of having a defect. Still a great laptop, and with that price(even being a refurb) id say its a great deal.(just a sidenote, but this thread prolly shoulda been in the laptops section:P)

id say the chances are a little more then slightly higher...
many people that have owned refurbished parts will tell you that they are rarely worth it. they are more much more likely to brake or already be broken when your receive them, and usually use old parts.

id reccomend one of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152103
you get current gen parts, and the safety of a warranty. not the mention top notch performance
