I am about to pre-order this computer , I live internationaly, but i dont mind paying the taxes(Still cheaper then buying here!)

Is this a good computer , or should I wait? is it silent? any cons?
Price is not a problem , i dont mind even taking an Alienware computer(m14x) , if there is a better spec, or any other high top gaming laptop.(if any suggestions please say).

Also , how good is this comp in running the upcoming Guild Wars 2, cause thats where I am aiming at.

Thanks alot!

If any laptop will run it it will be that one. Its got the fastest (computing power wise) quad core laptop processors, the GTX560m is one of the single fastest Laptop GPUs on the market, and pleanty of RAM available.

If you have any doubt, check out the 1366 socket laptops from Sager. They carry a desktop i7 quad core (up to 6 core if you want it) and GTX580m (in SLI if you want it).

Its 3599 USD if you get it stock plus GTX580m SLI. That will blow through anything out there.

that dell sucks in gaming department. The GT555m is a midrange card, akin to the desktop GT520.
Asus is going to be the best option if you need gaming and support in your country. And technically all ptimus does is enable the use of the IPU built into the i3/i5/i7 systems (and celeron/pentium based off them) to save battery. Nvidia has little to do with it. You can do the same thing with 3 clicks of the mouse. Mine dont support optimus, but I get around 4 hours when its set to IPU as primary.

Ok, so Asus is the best bet for price and quality.

Question: Should i get a Screen ( with naked eye 3d?)

Question:If i want after buying the keyboard to add hebrew on it , is it possible?

Question:does naked eye 3D harm the eyes in any way?

Question: is the computer silent , even in rough times(high end games)?

sorry for so many questions , but going all the way to the usa , and finding out at home that the computer isn't good will make me sad.

If you get windows Ultimate on it, to get the language packs, then you could get a Hebrew USB keyboard, or possibly a layover keymap (that what I used to learn the USA layout on an Italian computer).

I am not sure of any permanent harm caused by it. I know it can cause seizures in people with Epilepsy, along with quite a few other gaming scenarios. I would check with a local doc for the end all in possible damage.

I doubt that you will ever find a gaming computer that in 100% silent. The reasoning for this is heat. The CPU and GPU heat during strain (gaming or editing or such) and cause the fans to speed up. This causes noise.
My little acer here in game (BFBC2, COJBIB, MOH, CA, and others) sounds like a small jet from the fan.

a hebrew keyboard is an option, but i heard of a method where somne writes over the keyboard letters , question is will it cause trouble with the keyboard lighting ?

so silent , ill never get well atleast it looks like it wants to be quite :P, maybe while not playing high end gaming but then again ill probbaly hear the game music rather than the computer

I decided to buy this Asus G53SX-A1 from gentech. ( i am not touching/upgrading the computer).

I called the sales rep ... and he said the computer isnt 3D, and accoriding to asus.com it is so i am confused :S can somone help me?
