Asus laptop freezes

Good day,

I bought Asus x553ma on March 2015 W 8.1.

Unfortunately, It freezes while watching Netflix and using Skype. The screen starts flickering and can hear a loud buzzing sound. Run disk check, reinstalled WI Fi drivers, but still has same problems. Check for any updates with ASUS. Apparently, all is up to date. Asus help desk suggested, as a last resort, to restart/refresh windows. They do not have a replacement policy.

Any suggestion is mostly welcome.

Take it back to where you bought it and get it exchanged. You shouldn't be having issues with it shortly after you bought it.
 
Thank you for your reply. That is the first think I wanted to do, but Asus does not have a replacement policy.
 
Weird that ASUS won't replace it... are you sure about that?

But take it back to the shop you got it from and get them to exchange it since the machine is so new.
 
Yes, Asus does not have a return policy. However, I have it returned to the shop.
