Im looking at this ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard because it has onboard video and I would like to select a board with decent video.

I will not use it for gaming. How's this selection if not getting a video card? thanks.

It will be fine if you do not use it for gaming.
However, for the similar price, I personally will choose AMD 770/ 785g + Cheap 4550

If you want it for the onboard get a 785 or 890GX board.

I am agreeing with Daisymtc. AMD 770/ 785g + Cheap 4550 is better one.
